"Everyone is alive, but not everyone lives."
Who is happy with their jobs? Do you often think so? Well, we all want to get paid for doing the work we love so much that it doesn't even feel like work.
This VidzMak blog will show you how you can find that "job", in other words, "your passion job", that brings you joy so much that you forget the time while doing it, and how you can switch into that dream job, without quitting your day job, and make money out of it. Pretty excited, huh? Let's get started.
1. What does Ideal Job Mean to you?

First, you need to find out what is an ideal job for you. We will start with all the options we have, and then we will narrow those down to a few in which you can experiment. Start with following parameters.
For now you already know that the job you're searching for needs to have joy and money. See if it also has flow.
Flow means the mental state in which you're completely immersed in an activity, forget about time and do your absolute best work. So, joy, money and flow are central to determining your ideal career, but your working conditions are too.
You might love the content of your work, but if your day-to-day conditions are poor you'll eventually find yourself stressed out and will think that the job sucks. To prevent this from happening, it's important to also determine the conditions that are right for you.
Answer these:
Could you be happy working a 9-to-5 job?
Do you want to work solo or on a team?
Do you prefer working in a shared office or at home?
Do you prefer working autonomously or are you fine with being managed?
How do you feel about your actions being monitored?
You had previously started with a huge collection of options. Now it has been narrowed down to a few of them, which you think will fit.
After answering these, you have got a strong sense of what kind of job is right for you. Still, this list must be large for you. The list has all the jobs that make you happy, make money, has flow, and the working conditions you want, but if you are not good at those, you'll find yourself struggling and eventually not enjoyable. This brings us to the next step.
2. Make a list of of everything you are good at

Everything means everything, not just the things you studied or took a coaching for.
For instance, if you are a code developer, you will only think about your skills in coding and find jobs in coding. You might have different skills that you are good at, say, writing, or designing. So, the point is, write "everything" down that you are good at.
A great way to look at this, is the things you talk about to your friends or colleagues everyday. They might come to you with certain advice or some other work, and that is because you are good at that. Let's say, your friends come to you for relationship advice, whenever they have a problem. This might be your niche to go for.
3. Finding your true job ("Passion") will take time

Let's face it. Even when you have categorized everything and made a small list of jobs that might be your passion job, you have to experiment with those to find one.
The traditional advice says, if a career opportunity comes your way, you should seize the chance because it might be your only one. In reality, any job is exciting at first and becomes boring after a while. So, ditch the rule about jumping at your first career opportunity and write a new one that says, "If you don't feel good about a job, pass it up." There are other options with you. Try those.
Choose one from the list you've made that seems most exciting to you and then start experimenting.
4. Make money out of your passion (Make it your career)

Now that you have a skill or passion, the next step is to find how you can make money by employing these skills to meet a demand and connect with prospective clients.
A way to do this is to use "100 People Project". Let's take the previous example, you have decided your niche to be a relationship advisor.
Choose 100 people from your contacts list and social media and then provide them a 15-minute free consultations. This will improve your skills while connecting you with potential clients for your future business.
5. Start your business as a side hustle

Till now you might be thinking that it's a lot of risk to experiment with different passion jobs. But it's possible to build a small business in your free time, as long as you do it systematically. In fact, loads of people who now earn their living from passion, initially built their businesses in their spare time as a side hustle.
So, start with planning your stuff. Before starting, you must list these things:
What kind of product or service you want to provide?
Who are your customers?
Which of their problems are you going to solve?
What will be your budget?
How can you market your business?
6. Make well-scheduled plan for the business

Once you have all your questions answered, start scheduling everything - One thing at a time.
Being more productive and using the tools and techniques for getting more done in less time, will help you handle both the jobs at a time. If you interested in learning these techniques, click here.
For instance, you planned to provide relationship advice. Then you could first spend time on marketing yourself, or advertising your service on social network, make a page of your service on social media where you can update weekly posts, and where people can provide you feedback as well.
In this way, you can rely on the income from your day job and won't have to depend on your new business to succeed. If you find this going well and you enjoying your job, that's fine. Or, you can experiment with other ideas until you find your real passion.
If your business goes well, you are now financially stable, as you have a second income now. And if this second income is generating enough money, you could expand your business by quitting your day job and giving your complete attention to your own business.
7. Let's face the obstacles
So you found a great idea, and you think it's your passion job, but you're afraid to start for some reason.
Fear can be the most dreadful thing that can be holding you back from following your dreams.
To get rid of this, start listing everything that could go wrong and estimate how likely any given outcome is. You might find out that most of the fears are either harmless or so improbable that there's nothing to worry about. If this is the case, you must go for it.
8. Create an if-then sketch (Handle Risks)

Whenever you make a decision, consider the possible outcomes and decide what you'll do if they come true. Create an if-then sketch. What will you do if the results are positive, and if the results are negative.
There are three general measures that can be your career insurance policy, for if things go really wrong: say, you lose your job:
Maintain a network of supporters, people who can help you build a career, find customers or get back on your feet.
Secure an additional source of income to ensure that losing one wouldn't be the end of the world.
Always spend less than you earn to maintain a financial buffer.
These were the steps you can follow to find the passion of your life and make a career out of it without losing your current job.
